Clare - Crooked Lake Resort - January 22, 2008
What a fantastic snowmobile year. We are getting 5 more inches here as I am writing this report to you . Snow is light and fluffy. We will have at least 15 + inches here.trail conditions are excellent and riding is great. The best I have seen in a long time.
My 2 liter pop bottle on the take is snow covered and cannot be seen.

Crooked Lake / Clare Area - January 16, 2008
TRAIL REPORT:
We have had a lot of snow this week. Trails are in Excellent shape. Groomers are out and snow is nice and packed. Some great riding on the trails this past week. My son put a bout 300 miles on the sleds. I couldn't believe they tell me there is no snow south of midland. wow It's hard to believe . We have a good 8 + inches here in Clare county.

Clare Area - February 26, 2007
Snow piled up over the weekend at Crooked Lake Resort. -- Clare County got over a foot of snow last night. We got the blunt of the storm. Trails are in excellent shape .More snow in the forcast for this weekend as well so there should be some great trail riding and groomers should out this morning .

Clare Area - January 21, 2006
We have 6 + inches on the trails and with the 1 1/2 inch ice base it makes for excellent riding. Groomer will be out today. so enjoy the ride . There Per marquette trails run from Clare to balwin at Reed City there is a jounction up can go up to Cadillac or down to Big Rapids . miles of trails . and all a great ride.

Clare Area - January 18, 2006
As of Wednesday January 18th the trails have 1 1/2 inches on them. However over the night we recieved freezing rain that could set up the perfect base. According to the weather man we are forcasted to get somewhere around 4 inches of snow which translates to 2 inches. There is a storm that may be on the way for Sat and Sun but we will have to wait and see, keep your fingers crossed!

Clare Area - December 15, 2005
Overall Trail Conditions: Excellent -- Latest Snow: We got about 3 -4 inches Yesterday,12/15/05 and snowing today 12/15/05 -- GROOMING REPORT fron The Pere Marquette Snowmobile Club Trails are excellent shape. There has been sled traffic north of Big Rapids. One rider said from Paris north the riding was great, good and hard packed! The groomers are out and report trails look great. From Lake (Crooked Lake),to Balwin, Evert to Big Rapids and From Leroy to Cadillac and then south to Big Rapids all are excellent.

Clare - December 4
We got about 3 inches on Friday 12/2/05. There is plenty of snow in the forecast so hopefully we will be able to get the groomers out this week.
