SLEDFEST 2008 started out with great success with the USSA Sanctioned Ice Oval Snowmobile and Pro-Vintage Races at Gogebic County Fairgrounds with around 1200 in attendance.
SledJam happens Thursday, Friday & Saturday- Jan 11 & 12 at Gogebic Country Fairgrounds. This is a sanctioned qualifying competition for the ESPN Winter X Games later this month in Colorado. One high-flying daredevil from this event will qualify. If you missed last weekend, Food, Fun, Bonfires, good stuff to buy, Music and much merriment will all happen again this coming weekend.

A preview of things to come when Sledjam rounds out the final weekend of Sledfest '08 at the Gogebic County Fairgrounds. Eight riders will compete to qualify for the ESPN Winter X Games later this month. Matt Tingstad of Bessemer does a few practice runs between races at the USSA Ice Oval Races this weekend in Ironwod. |

Indianhead Mountain - December 3, 2007
14 inches December 3rd -- Snow Reporters Update - 8:15am Monday December 3rd — 8 inches of fresh powder overnight, 14 in the last 2 days. More in the forecast for the week. Indianhead will reopen on Thursday, December 6 for the season. Right now, it looks like Chippewa, Voyager’s Hwy, Sundance, Old Flambeau, Leelinaw, Little Paw, Totem Pole Beginner’s Area, Nokomis, Standing Horse, Little Feather and Jack’s Cutoff will be open by then.
