At Jacob’s Farm we spare nothing to assure that your experience will create lasting memories. We employ ten acres of farmland to create this experience and develop our plan using computer aided design technology and GPS to insure that everything is just right.
Our maze design is changed each year and information contained within the maze reflects this design. Plan on being entertained for as long as two hours as you navigate the trails. This A-MAZE-ING adventure opens in late August and runs all the way through October.

New Race Start Time at 9:00 am!
End your Summer with the Mackinac 8 Mile Road Race
Join us for the 51st anniversary of this exciting, summer-ending event. You will experience Mackinac Island in one of the oldest and most scenic races in Michigan. The Island is a unique destination that can only be reached by ferry. Step back in time to a bygone era where travel is done by foot, bicycle, carriage or horse. With almost 2,000 runners and walkers plus the 50th year highlights, this is definitely a race you and your family will never forget!
Location
The 8 Mile Run & Walk will start directly in front of the Mission Point Resort. The Finish Line is located along along the Lakeshore Trail on the lakefront lawn (Great Lawn) of Mission Point Resort.
Starting Times (Please note new start time, please plan accordingly)
8 Mile Run & Walk will start at 9:00 AM
Please line up according to your pace with the faster runners at the front and walkers the last to start.
Kids Fun Run will begin at approximately 12:00 AM Children should gather at the Gazebo on Mission Point’s Lawn for fun exercise and instructions prior to the race.

We are excited to announce our 2nd Annual Balloons Over Bay Harbor event that will take place in the Village at Bay Harbor, September 17 & 18, 2021. Our first annual event in 2019 was a great success and drew thousands over the weekend to witness some of the most beautiful hot air balloons, lifting high over Little Traverse Bay.
The balloon glows in the evening were absolutely breathtaking, with reflections mirrored in Bay Harbor Lake. We were unable to have our event in 2020 because of the strict guidelines for gatherings that we adhered to. However, in 2021 we are excited to be hosting some of the best pilots in the nation who compete in national festivals across the country and overseas.
There will be flight activity throughout the weekend and the amazing “night glows” taking place on the marina lawn panel scheduled for both Friday and Saturday evenings.

26th Annual Taste of Harbor Springs 2021
The Taste of Harbor Springs is happening this year and the prices are staying the same! This year we celebrate 26 years of raising funds for culinary scholarships! Your admission will help area professionals pursue their dreams in the culinary arts.
This very popular fundraising event takes place at the waterfront in Harbor Springs on September 18, 2021 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Enjoy tastes from participating restaurants with your admission ticket – drink tickets for beer and wine are separate. There will be water coolers on site in addition to the ticketed drinks.
Every admission ticket does include a commemorative “26th Annual Taste of Harbor Springs” glass!
Tickets purchased in advance are $30. After 5p, Friday, September 17, and at the door, tickets are $45. As always, we are limited to 750 maximum ticket sales. NOTE: we have sold out in the past. Advance ticket purchase strongly recommended.
