Fall Color Update

September 23, 2019 - Western U.P. Visitors Bureau

Our color is at 25-40% this week. You will see stretches of brilliant colors mixed in with the greens. Some of our trees have lost their leaves and have turned brown due to the dryness. Generally peak is the last week of September and the first week of October so you still have a lot of time to come up to Gogebic County to enjoy our fall colors. The color closer to Lake Superior is usually a week behind inland.

Make sure when you are here to head out to Copper Peak. The view is spectacular when you take the Adventure Ride to the top. Copper Peak is open through mid-October; hours are 10AM-4:30PM.

If you need any additional information feel free to call our office at 906-932-4850 or log unto our website www.explorewesternup.com
