This annual event pays homage to America’s first six-person high speed chairlift, the Mountain Express at Boyne Mountain. On this day only, six lift tickets for the price of one are offered at Boyne Mountain ONLY.
Tickets must be purchased at the Boyne Mountain lift ticket window on Friday, December 14. Valid only at Boyne Mountain. Tickets NOT honored at Boyne Highlands. 6-for-1 tickets are valid 9am – 4:30pm on 12/14/18 only.

Pick-a-Tree: Visit the Park at Water’s Edge beginning December 14. Trees are free to houseguests while supplies last. Snowiest Snowflake Contest: Visit the Park at Water’s Edge to create a unique snowflake. Prizes for the top three snowflakes in four age groups. Winners announced January 1 and posted at the Park at Water’s Edge. You do not need to be present to win. Crafts: Tube-A-Licious Candy, Puffy Pillows, Glitter Tattoos, Build a Buddy Kits. Prices may vary. Rentals: Ice skates, Snowshoes, Fat Tire Bikes, Movies, Board Games. Activity prices will vary. Select activities are weather dependent. Family Campfire: Unlimited complimentary marshmallows. S’more kits $4 each Horse Drawn Surrey Rides: Be whisked away by a team of gentle Belgian horses on this 25-minute ride. $12 per person; ages 6 and under free with paying adult. Reservations required, call ext. 7000. Outdoor Laser Tag: $15 per person for a 30 minute session. Ages 7 and up. Reservations required, call ext. 7000. (Listed time on calendar represents first session offered; additional sessions may be available) Archery: With target distances of 30 feet, our range is beginner friendly but challenging enough for the seasoned archer. $19 per person for a 30 minute session. Ages 7 and up. Reservations required, call ext. 7000. Snowshoe Hike: A leisurely 1-hour hike through Crystal Mountain’s rolling, wooded terrain. $25 per person. Ages 7 and up. Learn how to cross country ski at our Saturday free ski lesson!
This beginner lesson teaches the basics of cross country skiing, including classic diagonal stride and/or skate skiing, hill climbing and descending, and turning. We even teach you how to get up after you fall down!
Each lesson ends with a mini ski tour to Trapper’s Cabin, where skiers can purchase hot cocoa and relax by the bonfire. Adults and children are welcome.
If you need to rent skis for a nominal charge, please sign in at the rental desk no later than 10:15am.
This lesson is free and lasts approximately 1 hour.
