Grand Traverse Pipes & Drums Fundraiser Ceilidh (“KAY-lee”) – February 24, 2018

A cèilidh is a traditional Scottish social gathering. In its most basic form, it simply means a social visit. In contemporary usage, it usually involves playing Gaelic folk music and dancing, either at a house party or a larger concert at a social hall or other community gathering place. Join us for our 2018 fundraising Cèilidh!

Tickets are $15 (plus Eventbrite fee) in advance or $20 at the door. Ticket price includes your admission. There will be a cash bar and availability of food to order off a menu. You can print your ticket but we will also have a list at the door of who purchased in advance.

Children 10 and under are $10 (pay at the door). Children under 3 years are free.

2018 proceeds go towards band instruments.

Traverse City Uncorked – May 1 – 31, 2018

Traverse City Uncorked
Quickly becoming a renowned wine destination, Traverse City boasts a wide range of cool-climate wines that pair perfectly with the exploding cuisine scene. The region’s two peninsulas, Leelanau and Old Mission, are both designated as American Viticultural Areas (AVA) with diverse microclimates uniquely suited for a variety of wine grapes. Among the internationally acclaimed varietals are Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc.

Pair all of this with the beauty of Lake Michigan’s Grand Traverse Bay and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and experience, firsthand, the Traverse City region which will have you yearning for more.

Throughout the month of May, enjoy lodging packages, tasting room specials, chef events, winemaker dinners, education and more. Visit Traverse City Uncorked‘s website for further information.

Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail – Spring Sip and Savor – May 5 – 6, 2018

Spring Sip & Savor
As our vineyards awaken to the sun and warmth of May, toast to the enchanting beauty of spring, indulge your senses and discover delicious Leelanau Wines splendidly paired with scrumptious small bites! This beloved springtime event includes a self-guided tour along the trail, where you’re free to visit any of the 24 participating wineries in any order you choose on both Saturday (11-6) and Sunday (12-5). Tickets are limited and typically sell out, so get yours TODAY!

Ticket Information:
Tickets are $40 and include a souvenir wine glass, along with a featured wine and food pairing at each winery. After your featured pairing, most wineries offer an additional complimentary 2 to 3 tastes. Purchase your tickets by selecting a Starting Winery where you will check-in to the event and pick up your supplies before charting your own course to participating wineries in any order you choose. Tickets are good for both Saturday and Sunday. A $5 donation for every ticket sold goes to the Bruce Simpson Winemakers Scholarship to help students in their quest for a career in viticulture or enology in Northern Michigan.

Don’t want to drive? Find a willing friend and purchase an additional designated driver ticket for just $20. Your driver can still enjoy the food pairings while he/she takes you from winery to winery. You can also take your food & wine tour via bus or limo by contacting one of our transportation partners. We encourage you to contact them PRIOR to purchasing your tickets and a starting point. Find transportation packages that include your tickets or visit our transportation page for a complete list of our preferred partners.

Saturday, May 5: 11 to 6

& Sunday, May 6: 12 to 5
