With a spectacular backdrop, our summer concert series takes place on the lawn of a National Historic Landmark, Marquette Park, which is at the foothills of Historic Fort Mackinac downtown across from the marina. Bring a picnic and tune in for some great live folk, rock, country, blues—the best of Americana. All concerts are free. We recommend bringing a blanket or lawn chairs for your comfort.

Olivia Dear returns to the Music in the Park stage in 2021 as our first headliner of the new season!
Singer-songwriter Olivia Dear plays 150+ shows annually, spanning from Los Angeles to London and in living rooms to concert halls. She’s headlined The Chapel at Masonic Temple in Detroit, Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta, Rockwood Music Hall in NYC, and has toured through numerous other iconic venues nationwide. The Nottingham Post calls her “a voice you melt into […] beautiful, innocent, soulful and note-perfect.”

Rachel Davis, longtime friend of Mackinac Island, is back at Music in the Park, joined by local favorite Chimney Rock.
Multi-instrumentalist Rachael Davis is as renown for her expressive–and explosive–voice as she is for uniting the often disparate worlds of folk, blues, country, and pop. Chimney Rock is a classic rock trio including Myk Rise, Bill Newland, & Tom Chambers based on Mackinac Island specializing in music from the 60s & 70s.
