Get ready to rock! Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo and Melissa Etheridge are coming to Kresge Auditorium for an evening of great music!

Benatar is one of the most popular female rock vocalists in history, with four Grammy awards, five top-ten hits, and seven platinum-selling albums. The first female artist to be featured on MTV, Benatar is best known for hits such as “Hit Me with Your Best Shot,” “Love is a Battlefield,” “Heartbreaker” and “We Belong.” Benatar is joined by Neil Giraldo, her longtime guitarist and husband. Giraldo has lent his talents on guitar not only to his wife, but to other artists including Rick Springfield and Kenny Loggins. Today, Giraldo splits his time between touring with Benatar and composing film scores.

The equally-decorated Etheridge is a talented singer-songwriter known for her mix of personal lyrics, pop-based folk rock and smoky vocals. Etheridge has won Grammy awards for “Ain’t it Heavy” and “Come to My Window”; Etheridge’s other hits include “Bring Me Some Water,” “I’m the Only One” and “Piece of My Heart.”

Buddy Guy and Jonny Lang in Concert – Interlochen Arts Festival – August 28, 2016

Blues icon Buddy Guy is joined by Jonny Lang, one of the most dynamic young voices in blues today, for a must-see performance at Interlochen Center for the Arts that crosses generations.

The recipient of the 2015 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, Buddy Guy’s incredible career spans over 50 years with just as many albums released. Guy, described as “the best guitar player alive” and one of Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time,” comes together with blues, gospel and rock artist Jonny Lang, who first found incredible success 16 years ago, at the age of 16, with the release of his major label debut album Lie To Me. Fame does not seem to have impacted him from being the same country farm boy from Fargo, N.D., who got his start in the local clubs of Minneapolis.

If you’ve got the blues (or just love them), don’t miss Buddy Guy and Jonny Lang in a performance that is equally technical and soulful!
