New Year’s Eve Party Packs

Celebrate with those closest to you in your own private setting with our Party Packs!

We’ll provide you with:

  • Four top hats
  • Four tiaras
  • Four noise makers
  • Four “Happy New Year” eyeglasses
  • One “Happy New Year” banner

$20 per party pack. Packs must be reserved in advance. Reserved party packs may be picked up at the Park at Water’s Edge during operational hours beginning December 26, 2023. Please call 231-378-2238  to reserve your party pack.


Live Music in the Slopeside Tent

Listen from 3pm – 5pm.


New Year’s Eve Family Party

Celebrate surrounded by loved ones during our Family Party! Located in Northwest Territories in the Crystal Center. Party includes dinner buffet, non-alcoholic beverages (iced tea, lemonade, water, coffee), party favors, live entertainment, and kids goody bag. Soda and alcoholic beverages will be available for individual purchase.  We will begin taking reservations on November 10. Reservations are required. Please call 231-378-2238 to book your reservation.

Adults (Ages 13+): $85
Kids (Ages 3 – 12): $45
Children (Ages 2 & Under): Free

Dinner Buffet:  6 – 8pm
DJ & Dancing:  8 – 10pm

Buffet Menu

  • House Salad Bar with choice of dressing
  • Bistro Steak with gorgonzola cream
  • Blackened Scottish Salmon with hoisin glaze and fresh pineapple mango pico
  • Chicken strips
  • Roasted garlic mashed potatoes
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Chef’s selection of grilled vegetables
  • New York Cheesecake with graham cracker crust
  • Leelanau tart cherry sauce, and whipped cream.

Please Note: General admission is not available for this event. Reservations are required. Space is limited. Please call   231-378-2238 to book your reservation.

Cancellations must be made 48-hours in advance. One transaction per reservation. Payment is taken at the time of reservation for the entire party. Space is limited. Parties larger than 10 may be seated at two adjacent tables. Smaller parties may be grouped together.


Live Music at the Vista Lounge

8:30pm – 12:30am: Enjoy live music as you ring in the new year! Ages 21+ only.


Family Glow Light & Torchlight Parades

The parade begins at the top of Cheers to Lou at 10pm sharp! Registration is required at the Mountain Adventure Zone, in the white tent on December 31, 2023 only. Registration will begin at 9am and will continue until no more spaces are available. Spaces are limited to the first 100 people ages 18 and up to carry a torch, and the first 100 people ages 6 – 17 to carry a glow light. All participants will be provided a wristband for chairlift access. All participants must have the ability to ski or snowboard in a controlled manner safely down a blue slope. An adult must be present to sign up minors.

9:15 – 9:40pm: Buck Chairlift will be accessible for parade participants. A valid season pass or lift ticket for December 31, 2023 is required. All participants must show their wristband to the lift operator. The last chair allowed to load is at 9:40pm sharp. Anyone arriving after 9:40pm will be denied access.

After the Torchlight Parade, overnight guests, Four Seasons Club Members and Property Owners are welcome to join us for fireworks over the mountain.

A completed Snowsports Waiver must be on file. Parent signature is required for ages 6 – 17. Participants must be proficient in skiing or snowboarding BLUE/INTERMEDIATE slopes, able to follow direction, and ski or snowboard in a controlled manner. Wristband from the Mountain Adventure Zone is required to get on the chairlift.

Boyne Highlands ~ “The Sizzler” Slopestyle Competition ~ January 16, 2021

For our second annual Bourbon & Bacon Bash, we are changing up last year’s hot event to a slopestyle throwdown. The Sizzler is open to all skiers and snowboarders who want to go all out for the sake of bacon and giveaways. This is a judged event and top finishers will walk away with some great prizes like Plath’s Meats bacon, BOYNE gift cards, and SWAG. The Sizzler will be a fast moving competition with music, an announcer, and various divisions based on the number of entrants. Each rider will get two runs and the opportunity for bonus points by hitting “The Sizzler” bacon feature located at the base of the Lower Heather Terrain Park.

Spectators are welcome so come on out! Join us to watch from the base and enjoy a mouthwatering pig roast and a bar. We will have music, a bonfire, and visits from Huey The Highlands Pup to make for a fun – and sizzling – afternoon on the slopes.

Schedule of Events: Saturday, January 16

  • Event Registration: Pre-registration online is currently closed. Please register from 1-2:30pm the day of the event at the bottom of MacGully Terrain Park
  • Participation Fee: $20 | $10 with PEEPS Pass (collected on site)
  • Open Practice: 1-2:30pm in Lower Heather Terrain Park
  • Rider’s meeting: 2:45pm at the bottom of Lower Heather Terrain Park
  • Pig Roast and Bar: 2pm
  • Slopestyle Competition: 3pm in Lower Heather Terrain Park
  • Awards: 5pm (estimated) on hill at bottom of the terrain park, immediately following event
  • Open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages, participants under 18 must have a a parent/guardian present at on site registration to sign the waiver

Sizzler Awards

  • 1st Place: 5 pounds of pepper bacon & 5 pounds of cajun bacon, provided by Plath’s Meats; BOYNE gift card, swag
  • 2nd Place: 3 pounds of bacon provided by Plath’s Meats; BOYNE gift card, swag
  • 3rd Place: 3 pounds of bacon provided by Plath’s Meats; BOYNE gift card, swag

Boyne Highlands ~ Skier/Boarder Cross ~ January 17, 2021

This event will pit racers against one another, in a spectacular double elimination style tournament, based on the racers’ age, gender, and discipline.

Each race heat has four racers on the course at the same time, firing out of their allocated gates when the starting gun bangs – and battling it out on a course that includes banked turns, jumps and other obstacles. Race against your friends and see who the real king of the mountain is. The first one across the finish line wins! The event is open to skiers and snowboarders, and everyone must have a valid lift ticket or pass, helmet, and signed release form.

Race: Sunday, January 17 at 3pm | Nastar
