July 13 performance at Interlochen Center for the Arts cancelled due to family illness.

INTERLOCHEN, MI— Tears for Fears’ Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith regrettably announce today that they have to cancel their summer run of dates in the US to include theatres and festivals – including their show at Interlochen Center for the Arts on July 13 – due to family illness.

Get ready to shout! Join British pop/rock band Tears for Fears for a night of classic hits and new music. Since the band’s inception in 1981, Tears for Fears has produced three platinum-selling albums and two Billboard No. 1 hits.

Best known for their songs “Shout” and “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” Tears for Fears continues to produce new music and excite audiences around the globe.

Chart toppers Tears for Fears’ most recent studio album, 2004’s critically acclaimed Everybody Loves A Happy Ending, signaled a welcome return for one of the biggest and best-loved bands of the post-MTV age, as well as one of the most eagerly anticipated reunions in pop music history.

In addition to successful U.S. tours in 2007 and 2009, Tears For Fears has toured Europe, performing in the renowned concert series Night Of The Proms with a 75-piece orchestra and full choir. The shows, a combination of pop music and popular classical music, are the biggest annually organized indoor event in Europe. Over the last three years TFF played the series in Holland, Belgium, France, Spain and Germany.
